The high-ceilinged, two-bedroom, two-bath unit also includes two loft areas, one available as an office or meditation space if you are comfortable climbing a ladder! There’s an in-unit washer and dryer (in addition to shared community laundry), a large kitchen, with dishwasher and copper sink and chef top stove.
Porch is ideal for plants and morning coffee or tea.
Renting here also includes a dedicated parking spot, lots of storage, and use of the exercise room, garden plots (we have plans to grow lots of food!), a guest room, library, shared common house with kitchen for events and community meals, and children’s play areas.
What is Cohousing?
A intentional community, where residents self-govern and maintain the condo complex while bonding over a shared vision and values. Each resident contributes to the community by working together, attending meeting and supporting community events.
The Ideal Housemate
for me is someone warm friendly open-minded, open-hearted, emotionally mature, single adult (or partnered but not planning on hosting regularly), no smoking or habitual drinking or substance use.
Please be clean, neat, responsible and considerate of those living here and in the shared space.
Good communication skills make for a comfortable and positive relationship. Financially stable. Enthusiasm for and experience with shared housing and community connection are a plus!
Full-time or short-term renters considered, including students, professors, travel nurses—-people with a busy life who want a sanctuary to retreat to.
As For Me
I'm a transplanted New Yorker with a lot of happy experiences in shared housing. I’m a grown up, queer and a work from home, psychologist/coach.
I’m open-minded, independent, friendly, introvert leaning, but very social with the people I align with.
